for Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School & St. Mary’s Academy!

Kennedy Catholic Prep has been offering young men and women, grades 9-12, a quality Catholic and College Preparatory education since 1966. Our broad offerings in academics, fine arts and athletics prepare young people for the all-around strengths which colleges and universities across this great country look for when they select strong students to represent their schools.


St. Mary’s Academy is a 6th through 8th grade Co-Educational Intermediate School located in the West Wing of the Kennedy Catholic academic facilities. Students receive a full academic curriculum that includes a traditional and supportive faith-based education geared towards preparing them to excel in high school and beyond. 

Prior to completing & submitting our Inquiry Form, please review the information below that applies to either Kennedy Catholic Prep or St. Mary’s Academy.

Important: After you fill in both your student & parent information, be sure to answer either YES or NO in regards to which school (Kennedy Catholic Prep or St. Mary’s Academy) you are inquiring about today.

Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School: (Grades 9-12)

Current 8th Graders (Class of 2028) and Rising 8th Graders (Class of 2029) 

Welcome to our Inquiry Portal for KCPS. If your 8th grader missed either the November 3rd or November 18th administration of the TACHS entrance to Catholic High Schools test, your 8th Grader can STILL APPLY FOR ADMISSION into our Class of 2028. 

Our Test Taking Thursdays began on Thursday, January 18th, 2024. Your student (Current 8th Grader Only) can sit for our local entrance test that assesses their academic abilities in grade level math and verbal/reading comprehension. You'll be able to choose a Thursday (Excluding Holidays) in March, April and May. (Dates will also be available over the summer)

Spring Open House Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 6:00P -8:00P - ALL Grades Welcome so be sure to sign-up when you fill out your Inquiry Form.

We also invite your student to spend the day here at the Prep. Within the form, you can also register (Current 7th, 8th Graders & Transfer Applicants Welcome) to participate in our Gael for A Day program. We have plenty of dates available in March '24, April '24 and May' 24.

KCPS Transfer Applicants (Grades 9-10)

  • Interested in a transfer as either a 1st Semester sophomore (10th grade) or junior (11th Grade) in September 2024, please complete our Inquiry Form. 
  • We DO NOT accept applications for student applicants interested in a senior year transfer.

St Mary's Academy Middle School - Grades 6, 7 & 8

If you are inquiring about our middle school, St. Mary's Academy (Grades 6-8) for the 2024-25 school year, we invite you to attend our SMA Informational Sessions, held each Thursday of month at 3:00P, excluding Holidays and have your student spend the day with us in our Gael for a Day program (Current 5th, 6th & 7th Graders) and take our diagnostic entrance test too. You can SIGN UP for ALL within our Inquiry Form!

Once you complete and submit your Inquiry form, a member of our admissions team will contact you to get your student started on the path to becoming part of our school community.
