Kennedy Catholic Prep has been offering young men and women, grades 9-12, a quality Catholic and College Preparatory education since 1966. Our broad offerings in academics, fine arts and athletics prepare young people for the all-around strengths which colleges and universities across this great country look for when they select strong students to represent their schools.


St. Mary’s Academy is a 6th through 8th grade Co-Educational Middle School located in the Dolan Pavilion of the Kennedy Catholic academic facilities. Students receive a full academic curriculum that includes a traditional and supportive faith-based education geared towards preparing them to excel in high school and beyond. 

Prior to completing & submitting our Inquiry Form, please review the information below that applies to either Kennedy Catholic Prep or St. Mary’s Academy.

Important: After you fill in both your student & parent information, be sure to answer either YES or NO in regards to which school (Kennedy Catholic Prep or St. Mary’s Academy) you are inquiring about today.

Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School: (Grades 9-12)

8th Graders as of September 2025 (Classes of 2030):

Welcome to our Inquiry Portal for Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School.

How can your 8th grader learn more about our mission here at Kennedy Catholic Prep, the Faith-Based, College Preparatory Education we have been offering our young men and women for close to 60 years and what is our application process so my 8th grader can Apply for Admission?

Follow these steps to get started and begin your son's or daughter's journey in becoming a Kennedy Catholic Prep Gael!

STEP 1:

Answer YES to Interest in Kennedy Catholic Prep to get started and be sure to fill-in ALL required parent & student fields. 

STEP 2:

Answer YES to attending one of our three (3) Fall Open House Sessions and select the session of your choice on either Saturday, October 18th at 11:15AM, Saturday, October 18th at 1:15PM OR Wednesday, October 22nd at 6:15PM 

STEP 3:

Answer YES to your student participating in our Gael for A Day program for 8th graders as of Sept '25 (Class of 2030) Our program started on September 24th and available dates are posted now till the beginning of Thanksgiving Week. More dates to be added for December and January '26. 

KCPS Transfer Applicants (Grades 9-11)

  • Interested in a transfer as either a sophomore (10th grade) or junior (11th Grade) in January 2026, please complete our Inquiry Form. Note: An official FACTS transfer application must be completed and submitted no later than Monday, January 5th, 2026 to be considered for admission and a January 2026 Second Semester start.
  • We DO NOT accept applications for student applicants interested in a senior year transfer.

St Mary's Academy Middle School - Grades 6, 7 & 8

If you are inquiring about our middle school, St. Mary's Academy (Grades 6-8) for the 2025-26 school year, we will be still accepting application throughout the summer. Answer YES to Interest in St. Mary's Academy and then proceed to submit our Inquiry Form  and contact Mrs. Courtney Jackson at cjackson@kennedycatholic.org to schedule a visit and to take our diagnostic test as part of our application requirements.

Once you complete and submit your Inquiry form, a member of our admissions team will contact you to get your student started on the path to becoming part of our school community.
